ABHIJOY ‘AJ’ GANDHI is a wellness-obsessed operator, strategist and investor with a passion for driving innovation and growth at the nexus of technology and business services, through leveraging expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and technology.
As CEO of Glue Inc, a Greylock Partners-funded, Seattle-based start-up on the journey to building the largest AI-wellness platform on Earth, with a mission to deliver wellness and ultimately happiness to 165 million corporate employees. With a bold vision to build the “Wellverse” on every corporate terminal, AJ’s ultimate goal is to create a universal gateway to wellness at work.
AJ started out as a McKinsey strategy consultant and held finance and investment CXO leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, Wells Fargo, and SunTrust Banks. He earned an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Scholar.
A repeat entrepreneur, AJ’s prior venture featured in the Inc. list of America’s 1000 fastest-growing companies. His spirit of personal challenge transcends the boardroom—he has been an avid mountaineer and technical climber, who has scaled ~20,000-foot peaks across North, Central, and South America, Africa, and the Himalayas.
Known digitally as AJTRON, AJ is a recognized thought leader in corporate wellness and health tech AI. He holds trademarks with the USPTO for concepts and brands in corporate wellness and employee engagement and has published extensively in these areas. Currently, AJ is focused on helping shape ERISA policy in Washington, D.C., advocating for the Wellness Spending Account (WSA) category as a vital adjacency to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
When he’s not busy shuttling between Seattle and DC, he’s finding nirvana at home in Atlanta with his very own Ms. Universe Mpule, their three children SJ, Aeon and Aina, and Orion, the furry member of the family.
